Fall placemats

With leaves from the pin oak out front!

Gluten free hawaiian pizza

The new potty schedule!

Posted right on the bathroom door. We take the times off and put them in a baggie taped next to it. A timer is set on the microwave to let us know when it's time to go try. We're having fun with it by everyone going in together. Regardless of whether they try or not, it's a great way for them to learn from one another. Charlie does better when the other kids are here to go in with him.

Halloween reading

Halloween books we have enjoyed. Especially Pumpkin circle which explains how pumpkins grow. My first halloween was Jeremy's sister Olivia's when she was little. It has a special note from grandma to Olivia. This will stay in the family for sure!

Things to write in my boys baby books....

Like snow on October 29th, 2011. A lot of snow actually. I've got to get better about writing in their books. I'll never forget about my parents telling stories about the weather, current events, and things that we said and did as children. Well this is one to document that's for sure! I'm thinking about getting them dressed in their halloween costumes and getting picts of them out in the snow. This is pretty cool!

Each week....

We have a different letter and color we learn. The last day we review all the letters and colors we have reviewed in the past. To reinforce it, we eat foods that are that color, pick clothes out of the closet that are that color and wear that color all week, find toys that are that color as well as other items around the house, paint and color with crayons, name things that start with that letter, practice coloring or writing the letter, and lots more!

So they will start to recognize their own names....

Fall trees craft

We made fall trees! Paper towel roll, construction paper, and pipe cleaners. The leaves are finger prints with different fall leaf colored paints. The kids loved seeing it all come together.

Sibling connections....

I haven't blogged since 2009 when I was capturing all of Charlie's firsts. Now here we are, plus one (Mason is 19 months old and Charlie is 4 1/2). I'm having the time of my life here at home with the boys and the daycare kids I care for. It's a small group of us but we have fun.
